Government
The Hujumbo Societies government has been based mostly on the decisions of others. While the community started, a Feudal Society was the best way to live. Over time progressed, England demanded that we become a monarchy and without a revolt, this so happened. The new king of our society became Fernando de la Rosa, an aspiring new prince of the English Nation. With great and loyal leadership this form of government lasted for almost 200 years. The crown was passed down by each generation of de la Rosa's until 1762. In May of 1762 a fleet of heavily armed Spanish ships came to Easter Island. They ended the reign of the monarchies and took over as a complete dictatorship. Not much long after the community started to deteriorate.
Economy
We believed that everyone should make a living for themselves. The economy is based on maintaning a steady job with an income. No one should be provided for unless they are inable to work themsleves due to medical conditions or age. People that live past the age of 65 have the choice of not working and recieving benefits. People that live past 75 and are still working are not allowed to work at the quarry due to the high risk of injury/ Jobs on the island are mostly based in the farms and the quarry. The main crop on Easter Island is sweet potatoes. The natives love sweet potatoes and it is produced frequently. The wildlife on the island is strictly unique. There are new animals found regularly on the island that have never been seen before.
